Hi guys! My name's Megan Molyneux and this blog is my journey towards my final a level grade! The topic in which I am studying is Media, and for my final product I will have produced a short, local TV news clip. On this blog I will explain how to:
- Get in contact with big Media companies such as Big Centre TV
- Different theories in which news stories follow and how to construct a new story along with this
- How to pick out significant parts of a news programme and explain why they are there
- How to use an array of digital media to the best of my ability and to the best of the budget my centre has
- Communicate with people in the correct manner with regards to my news programme
- I will blog my visit into Birmingham city centre and the BBC tour
- I will convey a wide range of DSLR images after being trained by a professional photographer
- I will use complex professional programmes such as Photoshop to produce quality images, for instance my logo
- I will investigate a wide range of stories
- I will investigate hard ad soft news stories and produce my own hard and soft story
- I will produce a very professional title sequence for my news programme
- I will convey how to make a story board and how to successfully use one to visualise my end prodcuct
As you can see below, there is a video of me introducing myself so you can put a face to my name. Throughout my blog I will use Canon,Nikon video cameras and also my mobile phone to record videos of me, and others. The camera I will use, will either be my own Canon DSLR EOS 750/T6i or my Sixth form's Canon EOS 1200D DSLR or my Iphone 5 to capture images of my work.
